Privacy policy
Effective date: 1 January 2026 · Applies to: Tactix, HydroTrack: Never Forget!, Smoke Tracker, and MedTracker.
The short version: these apps don't collect your data. There's no account to create, nothing is uploaded to a server, and I have no way to see what you record. Everything stays on your device.
Who is responsible
These apps are made and published by Okan Coskun, trading as Joshkun Apps, based in Ankara, Türkiye. For any question about this policy, write to support@joshkunapps.com.
What is collected
None of the apps listed here ask you to register, sign in, or provide your name, email address, phone number or location. Tactix, HydroTrack and Smoke Tracker contain no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind, and nothing about your use of them is collected or transmitted anywhere.
MedTracker is the one exception: it shows optional rewarded video ads (for example, to unlock an extra profile or your full history) through Google AdMob. Serving and measuring those ads involves Google collecting some device and advertising identifiers, described under "Advertising in MedTracker" below. This never includes your medications, schedules, or any other health data you enter — that stays on your device and is never sent to Google, to me, or to anyone else.
Because I don't collect personal data myself, and MedTracker's ad SDK only ever sees advertising identifiers rather than your health data, there is nothing of yours for me to store, share, sell or lose in a breach.
Where your data lives
Everything you enter — your logs, settings, saved strategies — is written to storage on your own device and stays there. I have no access to it.
- If you back up your device to iCloud or a computer, that backup may include the app's data. It is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not this one.
- If you delete an app, its data is deleted with it. There is no server-side copy, so it cannot be recovered.
Third parties
Tactix, HydroTrack and Smoke Tracker do not embed advertising networks, analytics services or social-media SDKs. No third party receives information about you through these three apps.
MedTracker embeds one third-party SDK, Google AdMob, used only to show optional rewarded ads. See "Advertising in MedTracker" below for what that involves.
All apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and, where available, Google Play. Apple and Google collect their own data around downloads and purchases as part of running their stores, and that is covered by their respective privacy policies.
Advertising in MedTracker
MedTracker is free to use. A small number of optional features are unlocked by watching a short rewarded video ad instead of paying — for example, adding an extra profile or unlocking more than 7 days of history. You only ever see an ad if you choose to tap an "unlock" button; ads are never shown automatically or between screens.
These ads are served by Google AdMob. To select and measure them, Google and its advertising partners may collect identifiers such as your device's advertising ID, general technical data (device type, OS version, coarse location derived from IP address) and ad-interaction data. This happens inside Google's SDK only — it is never combined with, or given access to, any medication, reminder or profile data you've entered in the app.
Where required by law (for example, in the EEA and UK), MedTracker asks for your consent to personalized advertising the first time you try to unlock an ad-gated feature, using Google's User Messaging Platform. You can decline personalized ads and still watch a non-personalized ad to unlock the same feature, and you can change your choice at any time from the app's settings.
You can also buy the one-time "Remove Ads" unlock to permanently remove all ad-gated prompts and stop seeing ads in MedTracker, without affecting anything you've already recorded.
For more on how Google's advertising products handle data, see Google's policy for sites and apps that partner with Google.
Notifications
HydroTrack, and any other app here that reminds you of something, uses local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent through a push server and no notification content leaves your phone. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Children
These apps are not directed at children under 13. Tactix, HydroTrack and Smoke Tracker do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, at any age. MedTracker's ad requests are configured as not child-directed, and Google AdMob serves ads accordingly.
Your rights
Data protection law — including the GDPR in Europe and KVKK in Türkiye — gives you rights to access, correct and delete personal data held about you. Since I hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to request: your data is already entirely in your own hands, on your own device. You can inspect it in the app and erase it by deleting the app.
Tactix
Tactix runs fully offline and requires no account. The strategies, player paths, loadouts and utility timings you create are stored on your device only. Nothing is uploaded, and no other user of the app can see your work.
HydroTrack: Never Forget!
Your intake entries, daily goal, unit preference and reminder schedule are stored on your device only. Reminders are local notifications; they are not sent from a server. No health data is shared with me or with anyone else.
Smoke Tracker
Your quit date, logged cigarettes, pack price and consumption figures are stored on your device only. This is sensitive personal information, which is exactly why the app has no account and no cloud sync — it never leaves your phone.
MedTracker
Your medications, dosages, schedules, refill reminders and history are stored on your device only. This is sensitive personal information, which is exactly why the app has no account and no cloud sync — it never leaves your phone, and is never shared with me, with Google, or with anyone else. Reminders and refill alerts are local notifications scheduled on your device; nothing is sent from a push server.
MedTracker includes optional rewarded ads and one-time in-app purchases to unlock certain features — see "Advertising in MedTracker" above for what that involves.
Changes to this policy
If an app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, I will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
